Even to date the finer details of the art are imparted from Ustads (instructors) to Shagirds (pupils). A shagird matures as a skilled craftsman in about 5 to 10 years or more. Our line of manufacture is split into a Cottage Industry---where one or more sets of craftmen are involved into the making of various art pieces.
